PayPal Negative Amount

For Google Adsense help, I registered recently to a free stupid site, “the adsense jerk .com” (its Google page rank is zero, so I’ve not given the link. Of course it is without spaces). Every day I used to get one stupid email from this site admin. He ask me to buy this & that, I will get you at 90% discount and all nonsense.

In today’s mail he has give a link to buy a special drink from his site then he will send me some free stuff. I visited that site “the adsense jerk .com / bmad /”. I found at the end of page two textboxes saying “Define Your Drink”. Then I entered “XYZ” & “99999999999999999” and clicked “Cheers The Adsense Jerk!” It took me to PayPal Checkout page. That has a negative amount in it. Just see that screenshot.

Even PayPal has bugs??? Then I made a search on google for “paypal negative amount” to find-out anyone has reported about this, is it know bug for PayPal, and what exactly the negative amount represents. I found some interesting links from PayPal itself.

In “Seller Tools - IPN” there is a FAQ “Why are the amount fields sometimes negative?” Interesting it says “Negative amounts indicate that the money is being returned to the buyer, whether it be for a refund or reversal.” Oh! My goodness, if I give my login details & approve the payment, will PayPal get me 84 quadrillion (refer Jim Loy’s Million, Billion, Trillion... page) or 84,000 trillions. I don’t have guts to submit this amount at PayPal. If you have, try it! You can become world richest person overnight. Trillionaire! Ha ha aha!!!

IIS Configuration

I started my career in web development with a Web Portal company, Indias-best.com year 2000. The company plan is to host 14 sites for each city in India. bangalorebest.com, chennaibest.com, jaipurbest.com, hyderabadbest.com and etc.

At that time I know how to develop the website but not hosting. May doubts, too much confussion.

I planned to develop all sites in Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP), since i completed my IBM eBusiness course from Pentasoft at that time. I played little bit with ASP & IIS. I know how to create a website and vertual directory. To create seperate domains I used to give different port number. After some days I found that HOST file configuration, to map the header of new domain to the site. But I used to do it in all the machines. We were a team of 25+ including content writers, marketing team and managers. We used to make entries in each machine HOST file & used to sed As I know each domain has to be mapped to an IP. One guy says each domain name has to have IP.
